Andrew's adventures

When he was younger, Dr. Andrew Morris wanted to be a brain Surgeon .He studied for 5 years but failed his final test. He had passion for animals and decided to become a vet.

His career has been very successful. He saved a racing horse, which had been shot in the knee joint. He performed a very dangerous operation to remove the slug from the joint.

A dog was chasing a cat across a train track, he was stuck on the track and could not jump back up. The dog got ridden over and had to be operated on. Dr. Morris operated and fused the skull, which had been damaged and saved another animal’s life.

Early one day he got a phone call from Steven Johnson ho lives in Minneapolis countryside 100’s of miles away. Steven was a farmer in the countryside. He had 500 cows. 240 of them had hydrophobia and nine had died. One cow had broken the fence and escaped.

He drove down to the farm where he separated the cattle. He drew blood from all the cattle, whether they were sick or not.

Two months later Dr. Morris found a cure for the hydrophobia. After trying the cure for a week all the cows, on the farm were better. He was so relieved!

The phone rang loudly in the quiet house, Dr. Morris ran to answer the phone as quickly he could.
“Hello”, He said, “Um, ok, I’m on my way!”
He put down the phone and hurried to put on his jacket. He was not sure why Steven had called him. Had the hydrophobia returned?

When He finally got to the farm, he found a surprise waiting for him. There was the President, the Prime minister, and the Mayor. They were there to honour him for finding a cure for hydrophobia.
