Story
Mr. Popper is a rich man obsessed with his work and divorced. His father is an explorer in Antarctica.
When his Father passes away he inherits a penguin, at first he does not want it and tries to send it back. When a box arrives to send it back, it comes with 5 more penguins.
On his son’s birthday the penguins are mistaken for his present. To keep his family happy, Mr Popper kept them and named them, then turned his apartment into a penguin play-zone. He read in a book that cooler temperatures keep them calm.
Mr. Popper tries to return to his old life but realizes that having his family and the penguins’ closer makes him happy.

Would I recommended this movie?
Yes. Because it has good values. Family is more important than work! Shrewd business hurts others. Mr Popper learns this. It is also a great family movie and the best Jim Carrey movie I have ever watched.

My brother has read the book 'Mr Popper's Penguins' by Richard and Florence Atwater. The movie is apparently not like the movie at all, you can read his book review and see why.
